Humans: Freaks of the nature

Are humans the freaks of the nature?

The dinosaurs were on the planet for 200 million years. Homo Sapiens as the wise species has been on the planet for around 800,000 years. We are just babies but we have achieved so many things in this time. And the biggest technological progress we have made took place in just the last 200 years. How is that possible?

I have a few theories to explain this.

First of all, maybe aliens had a hand in it. A few months ago, my dad explined to me this problem and told me it could be that aliens came here sometime during humans timeline and may have done some experiments on our DNA or our brains. I loved listening to this theory because it sounds fascinating. Maybe they are even watching us as their experiments right now.

We could be living in a simulation. I remember a year and a half ago I watched a video on YouTube where Elon Musk said how huge there’s a chance that we are in a simulation. At that time, I accepted it as a fact because, for me as a mathematician the probabality was really high and therefore convincing.

And lastly for the realists, humans may have evolved so fast because of many factors. We have better biological conditions, we were just lucky or the process of learning could play a role in it. With a new idea comes another, with new inventions comes more of them. I think this is pretty logical.

In conclusion, I think that any of these theories is possible.
